Welcome to the new/recently revised SLHS page. We have changed hosting companies, and will hopefully not have nearly as much down time as with our last provider.

The St. Louis Herpetological Society Welcome to the St. Louis Herpetological Society (SLHS) online!

The St. Louis Herpetological Society was founded in 1974 by a small group of people with an interest in herpetology. It was their intent to provide a forum for like-minded people to meet and learn about the animals they cared for. We currently have over 200 members in our society whose interests and expertise cover a wide variety of reptiles and amphibians.

Meetings are generally the 2nd Sunday of the month and the doors open at 6:30pm. Members and nonmembers are invited to all meetings. Membership dues start at $20 for an individual, and are tax deductible.
