Welcome

Welcome to the St. Louis Herpetological Society (SLHS) online!
The general meetings are the 2nd Sunday of every month (with exceptions for Mothers Day and Easter), and the doors open at 6:30pm. Members and nonmembers are invited to all meetings. The meetings feature a presentation of species specific husbandry, field research, or general herptile information as to identification, habitat, and behavior. Membership dues start at $20 for an individual, and $23 for family, and are tax deductible. Please be sure to check our calendar...but meetings are subject to change.

Location


Our Sunday general meetings are held at the Kirkwood Community Center, 111 S. Geyer, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Executive meetings are the Tuesday after the second Sunday at Powder Valley Nature Center.

The mission of the St. Louis Herpetological Society is to share knowledge within our membership and educate the general public hoping to instill an appreciation of reptiles and amphibians and their importance in the natural world.
