The SLHS's education programs consist of three areas; presentations, outreach programs, and Herps In The Classroom. 

Presentations are available for groups, classrooms, or birthday parties, to name a few. 
Outreach programs are scheduled for events such as the Science Center, the Butterfly House, or the Boat Show. 

Our newest educational area is Herps In The Classroom.  Animals are maintained in a classroom for the duration of the school year.  The animals function as a learning tool for all involved!

Due to changes in our executive board, we are not to fulfill all requests for Presentations or Outreach programs at this time. If you wish to schedule a program, please contact us at our mailing address listed on the homepage. Note: we usually need at least 2-3 months notice to schedule an event.
